Journal

The Journal is an annual publication which has been published since 1849, and which is distributed free to all members. Due to the many name changes of the Society, the early Journals may be found under different names. The following list of these name changes may be of assistance to researchers:
1849-54 The Kilkenny Archaeological Society
1854-68 The Kilkenny & South-East of Ireland Archaeological Society
1868-9 The Historical & Archaeological Association of Ireland
1869-90 The Royal Historical & Archaeological Association of Ireland
1890- The Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland
